This is the side for people who enjoy the standard memory foam feel of sinking into the mattress, and being cradled as it contours around your body.
The copper infused memory foam provides cooling benefits by deflecting heat away from your body and keeping you cooler as you sleep.
The copper gel memory foam layer also helps provide a plush, extremely supportive feel to the mattress since the copper doesn’t yield under pressure and in fact pushes back with a firming reaction.
There is in addition a removable cover which is really soft and can be cleaned.

HOW FIRM IS THE LAYLA?
This flippable mattress gives you two firmness selections. The soft side is medium soft; about a 3.5 out of 10. Side sleepers will enjoy this side with the hugging feeling for your pressure points.
The firm side is a medium to medium firm; 7 out of 10 and is favored by back and stomach sleepers because of the increased support and less sinkage. Side sleepers who enjoy a firmer mattress will be happy with this side.
Remember that the larger you are, the softer the bed will feel. It is best for individuals under 230 lbs.
Motion Transfer
If you share your bed with a companion or a family pet that moves a lot then the amount of movement that you feel throughout the sleep surface is an essential consideration.

Is There a Weight Limit?
After speaking to customer service at Layla Sleep, we were told that the memory foam mattress and the new hybrid mattress both can hold up to 1,000 lbs.
We were told that the hybrid does offer more stability to larger people because of the inner coils which give it more structure than the regular memory foam mattress.
The memory foam is created to push against pressure, creating great support, especially for people who like to sleep on their side or back.
