HOW FIRM IS THE LAYLA?
This flippable mattress gives you 2 firmness selections. The soft side is medium soft; about a 3.5 out of 10. Side sleepers will enjoy this side with the cradling feeling for your pressure points.
The firm side is a medium to medium firm; 7 out of 10 and is preferred by back and stomach sleepers because of the increased firmness and less sinkage. Side sleepers who enjoy a firmer mattress will enjoy with this side also.
Remember that the larger you are, the softer the bed will feel. It is best for people under 230 lbs.

After speaking to customer service at Layla Sleep, we were told that the memory foam mattress and the new hybrid mattress both can hold up to 1,000 pounds.
We were also told that the hybrid does offer more stability to heavier people because of the pocketed inner coils which give it more structure than the regular memory foam mattress.
The memory foam is created to push against pressure, providing great support, especially for people who like to sleep on their side or back.
