HOW FIRM IS THE LAYLA?
This flippable mattress provides you 2 firmness choices. The soft side is medium soft; about a 3.5 out of 10. Side sleepers will enjoy this side with the cradling feeling for your pressure points.
The firm side is a medium to medium firm; 7 out of 10 and is favored by back and stomach sleepers because of the increased support and less sinkage. Side sleepers who enjoy a firmer mattress will more than happy with this side too.
The larger you are, the softer the bed will feel. It is best for individuals under 230 lbs.

After speaking to customer service at Layla Sleep, we were told that the memory foam mattress and the new hybrid mattress both can hold up to 1,000 lbs.
We were told that the hybrid does offer more stability to heavier people because of the inner coils that give it more structure than the traditional memory foam mattress.
The memory foam is designed to push against pressure, providing great support, especially for people who like to sleep on their side or back.
