Layla: How is it Made?
The Layla Memory Foam mattress is 10 ″ high and is distinctively created to be flippable, which gives you 2 firmness choices.
The firmer side of the mattress is designed of a 4.5 ″ layer of dense poly foam with a 1 ″ layer of copper-infused memory foam over that.
The softer side of the mattress has a 2 ″ layer of convoluted poly foam that functions as a transition layer to soften the mattress. (This layer looks like egg crate foam) Just above that is a 3 ″ layer of copper-infused memory foam. This is the side for individuals who enjoy the traditional memory foam feel of sinking into the mattress, and being cradled as it contours around your body.
The copper infused memory foam offers cooling benefits by deflecting heat away from your body and keeping you cooler as you sleep.
The copper gel memory foam layer also helps provide a luxurious, super supportive feel to the mattress because the copper does not give in under pressure and in fact pushes back with a firming response.
There is also a detachable cover which is very soft and can be cleaned.

HOW FIRM IS THE LAYLA?
This flippable mattress gives you two firmness choices. The soft side is medium soft; about a 3.5 out of 10. Side sleepers will enjoy this side with the hugging feeling for your pressure points.
The firm side is a medium to medium firm; 7 out of 10 and is favored by back and stomach sleepers because of the increased support and less sinkage. Side sleepers who like a firmer mattress will be pleased with this side.
The heavier you are, the softer the bed will feel. It is best for individuals under 230 lbs.
Motion Transfer
If you share your bed with a significant other or a pet that moves around a lot then the amount of disturbance that you feel throughout the sleep surface is an important element.

Does the Layla Mattress Have a Weight Limit?
After speaking to customer service at Layla Sleep, we were told that the memory foam mattress and the new hybrid mattress both can hold up to 1,000 lbs.
We were also told that the hybrid does offer more stability to heavier people because of the pocketed inner coils which give it more structure than the regular memory foam mattress.
The memory foam is created to push against pressure, creating great support, especially for side and back sleepers.
