The copper gel memory foam layer also helps provide a luxurious, super supportive feel to the mattress due to the fact that the copper doesn’t yield under pressure and in fact pushes back with a firming response.
There is also a removable cover which is very soft and can be cleaned.

HOW FIRM IS THE LAYLA?
This flippable mattress offers you two firmness choices. The soft side is medium soft; about a 3.5 out of 10. Side sleepers will enjoy this side with the cradling feeling for your pressure points.
The firm side is a medium to medium firm; 7 out of 10 and is favored by back and stomach sleepers because of the increased firmness and less sinkage. Side sleepers who like a firmer mattress will be comfortable with this side.
The larger you are, the softer the bed will feel. It is best for individuals under 230 lbs.

After speaking to customer service at Layla Sleep, we were told that the memory foam mattress and the new hybrid mattress both can hold up to 1,000 pounds.
We were told that the hybrid does offer more stability to larger individuals because of the pocketed inner coils which give it more structure than the traditional memory foam mattress.
The memory foam is designed to push against pressure, creating great support, especially for people who like to sleep on their side or back.
