The Layla Memory Foam mattress is 10 ″ high and is specifically created to be flippable, which offers you 2 firmness options.
The firmer side of the mattress is constructed of a 4.5 ″ layer of dense poly foam with a 1 ″ layer of copper-infused memory foam over that.
The softer side of the mattress has a 2 ″ layer of convoluted poly foam that functions as a transition layer to soften the mattress. (This layer looks like egg crate foam) Just above that is a 3 ″ layer of copper-infused memory foam. This is the side for individuals who love the traditional memory foam feel of sinking into the mattress, and being cradled as it contours around your body.
The copper infused memory foam produces cooling benefits by deflecting heat far from your body and keeping you cooler as you sleep.
The copper gel memory foam layer also helps provide a luxurious, very supportive feel to the mattress since the copper does not give in under pressure and in fact pushes back with a firming reaction.
There is in addition a detachable cover which is extremely soft and can be cleaned.

HOW FIRM IS THE LAYLA?
This flippable mattress gives you two firmness choices. The soft side is medium soft; about a 3.5 out of 10. Side sleepers will enjoy this side with the hugging feeling for your pressure points.
The firm side is a medium to medium firm; 7 out of 10 and is favored by back and stomach sleepers because of the increased support and less sinkage. Side sleepers who like a firmer mattress will be comfortable with this side.
Remember that the larger you are, the softer the bed will feel. It is best for individuals under 230 lbs.
Motion Isolation
If you share your bed with a partner or a pet that moves around a lot then the amount of disturbance that you feel across the mattress is an important factor.

Does the Layla Mattress Have a Weight Limit?
After speaking to customer service at Layla Sleep, we were told that the memory foam mattress and the new hybrid mattress both can hold up to 1,000 lbs.
We were also told that the hybrid does offer more stability to larger individuals because of the pocketed inner coils which give it more structure than the traditional memory foam mattress.
The memory foam is designed to push against pressure, providing great support, especially for side and back sleepers.
