HOW FIRM IS THE LAYLA?
This flippable mattress offers you 2 firmness options. The soft side is medium soft; about a 3.5 out of 10. Side sleepers will enjoy this side with the cradling feeling for your pressure points.
The firm side is a medium to medium firm; 7 out of 10 and is favored by back and stomach sleepers because of the increased firmness and less sinkage. Side sleepers who like a firmer mattress will be happy with this side as well.
Keep in mind that the larger you are, the softer the bed will feel. It is best for individuals under 230 lbs.
Motion Transfer
If you share your bed with a significant other or a pet that moves around a lot then the amount of disturbance that you feel across the bed is an important element.

After speaking to customer service at Layla Sleep, we were told that the memory foam mattress and the new hybrid mattress both can hold up to 1,000 pounds.
We were also told that the hybrid does offer more stability to larger individuals because of the pocketed coils that give it more structure than the regular memory foam mattress.
The memory foam is created to push against pressure, providing great support, especially for back and side sleepers.
