HOW FIRM IS THE LAYLA?
This flippable mattress gives you 2 firmness selections. The soft side is medium soft; about a 3.5 out of 10. Side sleepers will enjoy this side with the hugging feeling for your pressure points.
The firm side is a medium to medium firm; 7 out of 10 and is preferred by back and stomach sleepers because of the increased support and less sinkage. Side sleepers who like a firmer mattress will more than happy with this side also.
Keep in mind that the heavier you are, the softer the bed will feel. It is best for people under 230 lbs.

After speaking to customer service at Layla Sleep, we were told that the memory foam mattress and the new hybrid mattress both can hold up to 1,000 pounds.
We were also told that the hybrid does offer more stability to larger individuals because of the pocketed inner coils which give it more structure than the regular memory foam mattress.
