HOW FIRM IS THE LAYLA?
This flippable mattress provides you 2 firmness options. The soft side is medium soft; about a 3.5 out of 10. Side sleepers will enjoy this side with the hugging feeling for your pressure points.
The firm side is a medium to medium firm; 7 out of 10 and is preferred by back and stomach sleepers because of the increased firmness and less sinkage. Side sleepers who are fond of a firmer mattress will more than happy with this side as well.
Keep in mind that the larger you are, the softer the bed will feel. It is best for people under 230 pounds.

After speaking to customer service at Layla Sleep, we were told that the memory foam mattress and the new hybrid mattress both can hold up to 1,000 lbs.
We were also told that the hybrid does offer more stability to larger people because of the inner coils that give it more structure than the regular memory foam mattress.
